As one of Rotary‟s most significant and fastest-growing service programs, with more than 7,000 clubs across 163 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon.
The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East was chartered on the 29th of September 2007 an is one of the city‟s most active clubs, having bagged awards for its efforts. Our members are mostly students between the ages of 18 and 24, pursuing the bachelor‟s courses in various fields ranging from Commerce to Engineering, and some of whom are working.
Rotaract club of Hyderabad East has since its inception done several community service projects, making a genuine effort to touch lives and make a difference differently!
All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities’ physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
Rotaract represents ‘Rotary in action’ and true to this, we have organised a variety of innovative community service projects, for their benefit and also make sure that they enjoy themselves.

The club currently has around 40 members. If you wish to become a member, recruitments are held every year in August. Members are recruited based on their performance in a group discussion, team stimulation and a personal interview.
Volunteers:
The Rotaract club of Hyderabad East is open to several volunteer based projects where the community involves itself and plays an important part. Volunteers have been welcome in the past to join us in our activities at Aman Vedika and Agape.

Best Rotaract Projects: I think every project we take up as a part of Rotaract is special to us. AURUM, all the visits to Agape, Aman Vedika and other homes, Silver Lining, instant decision to help the Kashmiri Refugees etc etc.. all of them are really special.
Future Projects: We have an extremely enthusiastic club who have some brilliant ideas for projects. So right now, the plate is full. Will think about some more project ideas after we are done with the ones on hand. :)

Future Projects : I think it'll be great to make karaoke an annual event too like aurum, it'll be fun n plus we can rope in more money. n we also need to find out more places where we can make a difference, apart fom agape, aman vedika, etc. and make it a point to teach atleat once or twice a month to teach the under priviledged kids, in a school or where ever.

Best projects/future projects ideas: As a part of community service project i feel our projects with AGAPE have been the best in terms of long term value. :) i would really like to work for the street children one way or the other.
